What Information Does Wired Collect?

Wired collects information that is voluntarily provided in an Employment Application. This may include your name, contact information, academic record, resume, and other information you submit in your Employment Application. If you decide to submit an Employment Application, the information that you enter into the online form will be the only information collected by Wired through the Website during the initial application process. If you do not complete and submit the Employment Application, the information that you have entered up to that point will not be retained by Wired.

Wired also collects personal information if a quote, service call, or question is submitted through the Website. Wired may also need to collect limited amounts of information when assistance is requested through a live chat.

 

How Will Wired Use Collected Personal Information?

The personal information collected by Wired will be used for the following purposes:

  • To assess your qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience for possible career opportunities at Wired.
  • To respond and provide feedback for a requested quote, requested service call, or to answer questions submitted to Wired during a live chat.

Wired only uses information provided by you for the purpose for which it was disclosed to Wired. If you accept employment with Wired, the information collected will become part of your employment record.

Wired restricts access to personal information collected on our Website to Wired’s employees involved in the hiring process; Wired’s employees responding to a requested quote, service call, or questions submitted to Wired; and authorized third parties. Wired takes steps to ensure all information that is submitted to Wired is done so securely. Wired does not disclose, sell or market your personal information to third parties that are not identified in the Employment Application. However, Wired reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when Wired believes, in its sole discretion, disclosure is necessary to protect Wired’s rights and/or comply with a judicial proceedings, court order, or legal process served on Wired or the Website.
