Wired Communications and the cabling business it represents today dates back 20 years when KLF Business Systems entered the structured cabling marketplace under the leadership of our current president Kyle Kitchen. KLF was founded in 1968 by three partners, including Kyle’s father, Charles. The Kitchen’s played a significant role in the success of KLF until the late 1990’s when purchased by Expanets and then later G3 Technology Partners.

Nick has over 20 years experience in all aspects of innovative problem solving - keeping the business running fast and in continuous forward motion. For more than 8 years, Nick’s expertise has proven invaluable from in the field to the boardroom. When thing are going just right, you can bet he had a hand in it, and when things are not going as planned, you can bet he will fix it. A graduate of Ohio, Nick likes to spend time with his wife and four children. He enjoys the outdoors and sports and cheering on the Colts and Pacers.

Stephen was born and raised in Augusta with over 20 years of expertise in the world of network infrastructure. Stephen is married to the best English teacher on the planet and is a dedicated father of 3 daughters. In his spare time, he is a co-leading musician on the praise and worship team at his church. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, playing guitar, and cooking.

Karen was born and raised in Indianapolis. After attending IU she started selling PBX’s with Kyle Kitchen at KLF. Karen and Kyle sold the first structured cabling deal in Indy in the early 90’s. After working for a Cisco partner for years Karen joined Wired in 2014. She is spreading the word in Indiana and beyond about Wired with end users, technology firms and the construction industry. Karen and her family enjoy Florida and Lake Maxinkuckee and boating with family and friends. Karen is an avid Pacer and IU basketball fan.

Brandon likes to push the technology envelope and knows what’s new and what’s now. But more importantly, he knows what systems and technologies will help businesses maximize their technology investment, increase efficiency, and ultimately impact their bottom line. He is out to find you. The next wired forward and fast business partner, ready to get the fastest speed and the most technology for the best price. He slows down to hang out with his kids and family.

Billy Johns joined WIRED in May 2022 as a Business Development Manager. He has a BS in Business with a minor in Marketing from the University of South Carolina at Aiken. Outside of work, I find joy in playing soccer, fishing with friends, and cheering on Atlanta United. He cherishes spending time with my family, attending live music performances, and supporting WIRED's customers. His passions include coaching youth sports, expanding my knowledge of network infrastructure, and serving my community in every way possible.

Lisa brings 19 years of stellar accounting experience to the Wired team. She is new to our team, but we are counting on her to keep the numbers crunching and the cash flowing. Her role to manage us and our finances is a challenging one and she is more than qualified for the task. When she is not juggling us she is juggling her family of 4 sons and a daughter. In her really spare time, she is a die hard Green Bay Packers fan. Those are the only kind of Packers fans!

Stephen Colvin was born in Columbus, GA, and has lived in Augusta, GA for over 30 years. He became part of Wired Communications in 2024 and currently holds the position of Operations Supervisor. Stephen graduated from Brenau University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In his leisure time, he enjoys fishing, barbecue, watching Braves baseball, and spending time with friends and family.

Eric brings 10 years of experience in the structured cabling industry to the Wired team. His start as a field tech, gave him hands on experience in the field, which has carried over into his role as engineer. He is the keeper of the official playbook and his role is to create a clear plan, design, and scope of work to give the customer and technicians a complete understanding of the project. Tall orders don't upset him. Another IU grad on the team, cheering on the winning teams and the challenged ones. When he's not untangling client issues, you can find him out on the course improving his game.

Kevin Caldwell has 25 years in telecommunications and excels in taking on new projects and delivering customer-focused solutions. He is committed to exceeding customer expectations on every project. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Josh Cotton has been a dedicated team member at Wired Communications for nearly four years, celebrating his work anniversary this December. With a background in the Army, he brings discipline and teamwork to his role. His diverse experiences and dedication make him invaluable to the company. In his free time, Josh enjoys playing sports, strumming his guitar, and flying RC aircraft. He loves spending time with his pets, relaxing on the beach, and exploring the mountains. Passionate about connecting with people, sharing humor, and writing.

Tom has a long-term work history with the team for the past 15 years and has been on the wired fast forward thinking team for almost 6 years. He came up through the business as a technician and is now a master juggler of office managing logistics. If you have a question about something or aren’t even sure what your question is – Tom is your man. He keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Carly Kitchen born and raised in Fort Wayne, is a dedicated Inside Sales and Marketing Coordinator, holding a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne. She excels in driving sales and developing effective marketing strategies. In her free time, you can find Carly at the closest concert venue. Carly also enjoys quality moments with her family, friends, and her three fur babies.
