A Message to Our Clients Regarding COVID-19

To our valued clients & friends,

As we monitor the COVID-19 situation developing around the world, our top priority is to maintain the health and safety of our employees, clients, and community members while maintaining a consistent level of client service. We wanted to reach out to you to provide an update on what Wired is doing in the wake of the current events.

The COVID-19 situation continues to be very fluid. Employee safety and well-being is our first priority as we effectively maintain our operations to support our customers. We are communicating regularly with our employees and providing them with advice and support on health, safety precautions, information, and guidelines on travel within affected areas.

As you would expect the virus has affected our business as well. We have limited or no access to some job sites, client facilities have closed, and logically were all trying to eliminate or distance interactions with others to more virtual or simply voice and email conversations.

However, we are open and operating with all areas of the business functioning to support other essential businesses as they continue to try and serve the needs of the general public and the nation as a whole.

Wired is proceeding with caution and concern; implementing or following public health guidelines to protect the Wired Team, our clients, and those supporting our efforts. We’re not simply just keeping the doors open and coming to work blindly…we are engaged daily, hourly, and we are working through Covid-19 personal situations as they arise; checking the health condition of staff, removing them from operations if need be, and supplementing income so employees can stay home when they should.

Federal, State and local governments have classified our business; low voltage technicians and office staff as “essential” employees whose jobs are important to Wired’s continued core operation to support other essential businesses. During this pandemic, if you are an essential business and your network infrastructure is down, we may be able to help, feel free to give us a call (888) 919-4733 or drop us an inquiry on our web site www.itswired.net.

Within our Wired offices we have followed the recommended precautions suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). We are limiting the number of staff in buildings and spaces. To protect our office environments and those in them we have made hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and disinfecting wipes available to employees. We have also instituted enhanced cleaning protocols in all the common areas of our offices.

Functionally, we have invested in the necessary technology to allow employees to work remotely. Our employees maintain their phone numbers and email addresses so you can reach your contacts by the channels you normally would. Wired has virtual meeting technology so we can collaborate with any of our clients. We are flexible and willing to meet any requirements required by our clients for safety concerns.

We respectfully ask that if you or anyone in your immediate surroundings show symptoms of any illness that you contact us before meeting to determine if a virtual meeting would be in the best interest of everyone involved.

We understand that this is a busy time for many of you. Our team is committed to keeping you informed of any relevant news the COVID-19 situation may bring to our information technology industry.

We value our relationship with each of you and thank you for placing your trust in Wired. We are committed to staying connected with you as we all navigate these unprecedented times.

Regards,

Kyle Kitchen, President
